Renovations on my new portrait studio aren't yet complete, but are far enough along that I was able to take advantage of family who was available to help me move some stuff in! And just in time for Girls Night Out on the Pittsfield Square Thursday night! So, I have my work cut out for me this week as I get ready for this fun annual event (click here for details about that if you're local).
So, in order to be able to move stuff in, I had to get a key... and so I got one.... to keep! Yay! I'm so much closer to a dream of mine! The location is in a historic brick building that, in recent history, was a hardware and appliance store. I got the appliance and office part of the place, and since it's never been a stand-alone business before, there wasn't an address until this week! Now it's 101 South Madison. I love it... simple, yet refined. Ha! And while being a former hardware and appliance store doesn't sound too swanky, it is definitely coming together to be a really cool place that embraces the historic with the modern. Can't wait to show it off once the remodel is done!
But until then, I hope you plan to come to the 7th Annual Girls Night Out event from 4-8 p.m. this Thursday, Nov, 3... it'll be my first community event for my business here in PIke County! I will have information about my upcoming Grand Opening celebration Nov. 22, wine, quick portrait sessions (think photo booth, only classier), special pricing on Christmas card mini-sessions, samples of my work, wine, some of the furniture I have up-cycled under the Just Gorgeous Junque moniker, oh, and did I say wine? And, of course, one lucky lady will win a free Just Gorgeous session for her, AND a friend (must be 18 to enter)! Hope to see you there!
